The Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice expands purchases within the new Judicial Services and Smart Infrastructure Project (JSSIP; former JMP). According to the Ministry, the subject of the tender is a supply of information and communication, as well as other equipment for additional building of Sheki Judicial Complex. Tender participation fee is AZN 250. Pretenders should have a minimum 3 year experience and at least 2 contracts of similar kind for amount of at least $500,000 each, the average annual turnover at the level of at least $4 million and liquid assets at the level of at least $600,000. This project aims to improve access, transparency, and efficiency of selected judicial services. The Bank points out that JSSIP focuses on legal support for vulnerable layers of the population. The Project has four components that will upgrade justice e-services, such as case filing and case management systems; improving business registry and inspections, and enforcement of judicial decisions; improving information technology capabilities of the justice sector; and expansion and modernization of judicial infrastructure.
